The five Moo Do Values

By H. C. Hwang Kwan Jang Nim

The five Moo Do values: History, Tradition, Philosophy, Discipline/Respect and Technique are the backbone of our proud Moo Do identity. These values coexist interdependently with each element, strengthening the meaning of the other four. When we apply the Moo Do values to our daily training, we become stronger not only as practitioners, but also as individuals who exert a positive influence within our society. I am confident that this discussion of our five Moo Do values will help Moo Duk Kwan® practitioners to include them in all aspects of their lives as basic action items in their behaviors, rather than just concepts to talk about.
